Our 4th collaboration bottle share will be held in Old City at the Historic Powel House...definitely our fanciest of locations to date. As long as the weather is nice, it will be held outside in their back garden area. We will be moving it in side if it rains. As for food, it will be catered by Blue Belly BBQ. We'll be getting a variety of smoked meats and sides and even a vegetarian option for those who prefer not to eat meat.
The rules will be the same as each time in the past. All we ask is that you each bring a bottle or two of something to share. It doesn't have the be the rarest bottles of beer available and you don't need to have traded them off someone fron Antarctica. Just bring beers that you would want to share with your friends. Most people typically bring large-format bottles. If you e-mail Jared from Philly Tap Finder, he will keep a running list of what everyone is bringing so that we can limit the amount of overlap: [email protected].
Once at the share, all bottles much be cracked open by the person who brought them, to ensure they get an opportunity to try their own beer. We will do our best to divide the beers up by style to make it easier to navigate your way through everything. The event is bring your own glass, but we have made a limited amount of commemorative glasses perfect for tastings. These glasses are 5oz snifters with both the PBS and PTF logo on it and they will be $5. We will have some extras available at the event, but we encourage you to purchase one with your ticket if you are going to want one.
Like with the past bottle shares, tickets will once again be limited. We don't recommend you waiting if you want to go, as these sell out every time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail [email protected] or [email protected] and we'll do our best to accomdate.
