ABOUT ABOUT

The Best of the Philly Beer Scene Awards are back at World Cafe Live for their 5th year of celebrating the local craft beer community. Join your favorite local brewers and bar owners and walk down the red carpet to one of the fanciest and most anticipated beer events of the year. Due to the size of the venue and space needed for the nominees and presenters, this is a very exclusive event with only 50 tickets available.

Over 160' of red carpet are rolled out, all the way from the curb on 31st Street to the inside doors of the downstairs auditorium. You'll be greeted by our team of paparrazi throughout your walk and you can stop in front of our 20' Step & Repeat to have even more photos taken.

Once you walk into the auditorium, you'll be handed a souvenir glass (yours to take home, and you can be assured it will be much nicer than your average pint glass) filled with a beer brewed in collaboration with Neshaminy Creek exclusively for this event. Ticket holders will each have a mezzanine seat for the entire show with wait service available. Following the show, each attendee will receive an extremely limited bottle of that Neshaminy Creek beer to take home with them.

This year, we will have our first co-hosts: Joe Gunn and Casey Parker of Jose Pistola's. Swift Technique will once again return as the house band. Each award will be presented by various local celebrities of the craft beer industry.

As for the most important part, what beer will be available? There will be plenty of beer available and it'll be from the nominees for Brewery and Brewpub of the year. Six beers will be on draft and six will be poured from firkins. We don't know exactly which beers they'll be pouring yet, but we can assure you that there will be some great local beer. We'll update the list below as we find out. The bar will be PAYG. There will also be a dinner menu made available.

Doors will open at 6:00 and the show will begin at 7:00. The show itself will last about three hours. All attendees are encouraged to enter through the downstairs entrance on 31st Street.
