For our third year of giving out these 22oz trophies, we've decided to step things up a notch and throw an all-out, red-carpet style award show. To do so, we have procured the downstairs at World Café Live to hold the event. The show will be held on May 22nd and hosted by the one and only Joe Gunn (writer of the hilarious "I on Beer" column, host of Late Night with Joe Gunn, and co-owner of Jose Pistola’s.) No red-carpet style show would be complete without an actual red carpet, so we're laying one out and having a staff of professional photographers to capture every moment from your arrival to the accepting of the biggest award of the night. There is no dress code for the event, but it's strongly encouraged to wear what you would if you were invited to the Grammy Awards (we purposely chose Grammy Awards over the Oscars, as the musicians seem to have a lot more fun with their attire over the pretentious Oscars).

Doors will open at 7:30PM with the show starting at 8:00PM. The bar will be PAYG and we are dedicating all the lines to represent the nominees for Brewery of the Year and Brewmaster of the Year. There will be at least 5 taps and 5 firkins of special beers to celebrate such a big evening for the local craft beer scene. Table seating will have waitress service available as well as access to a limited food menu.
As for the show itself, it should last from 2-3 hours as we are presenting the top 15 awards as well as having a couple musical acts. The presenters will be made up of brewers, beer reps, bar owners, and other "celebrities" of the beer industry.

Tickets are VERY limited to this event, so don't hold out long and we look forward to seeing you at the show!
